Exposure Visit of Kandhamal to Koraput

A team from Kandhamal visited to Koraput in exposure visit to gain knowledge of the process of DMASS and SHG movement in Koraput district. The program at Koraput organized by Mission shakti and co- facilitated by NOP- Korpaut, DPMU-Analytical Cell, DRDA. Distirct Social Welfare officer- Ms. Basanti Hembram welcomed all the ICDS functionaries and SHG members to Koraput and in a magnetic view she shared about the Mission of Mission Shakti for the empowerment of women.

A presentation and sharing meeting was organized at DHQ- Koraput, where the importance and achievement of the program was briefly explained by DMASS Coordinator- MS.G Seeta Kumari. Chief Consultant – Mission Shakti Ms.Sulbha Yadav welcomed all the participants to the platform and explained the way of collective movement in the meeting and District federation as a umbrella to protect and grow the movement in a very smoother way.

NOP Consultants Dr BC Ratha & Santosh Kumar Padhy has expressed their views on Convergence approach, where as AK Limal and Arun Hial DPMU- Analytical cell gave a back drop of the program and initiation of Previous Hon’ble collector Shri Rajesh Prabhakar Patil and continue effort of present Hon’ble Collector- Koraput  Shri Sachin Yadav and his guidance here to provide a mature view to this effort.

At the second steps of the program, an plenary session was organized by the Dmass Executive body, where participants from all the blocks were represented there and shared about the IGP taken up and management of BMASS at the block level, structural approach, limitations and a way forward for sustainability for the same.

Kandhamal BCC Consultant Manoranjan Naik has provided a highlight on the further steps for convergence and opportunity to be utilized at the block level. Among others Pratyush Bishi and APMASS coordinated the process.

Field trips were organized by Mission shakti – Koraput to perceive different performance of the Mission shakti Koraput and to generate a learning moment for each other in the empowerment process.  This kind of program can enhance the opportunity for learners.

We anticipate such kind of programs in future and as a BMASS president highlighted that, they also need some exposure for further growing and glowing to this movement.

Block Level Social Audit training Borigumma

Block level social audit training process was organized at Borigumma today. People from different SHGs, PRI members and others has joined in this meeting.

BDO Borigumma , has highlighted the importance of this meet to the participants and seek their active cooperation to make it a successful one and other hand  he committed to provide most possible support to this effort.

Facilitation was done by ARYAN NGO, Borigumma , From the district Santosh Kumar Padhy and Arun Hial has joined and shared the process to be followed in the process.

Among others, CDPO Borigumma, Mission Shakti Coordinator Borigumma has shared the objectives of ICDS and role of the volunteers there.

Block Level Social Audit training Nandapur

A Social Audit training process was organized at Nandapur - Koraput District, where a mass gathering of PRI Members, SHG Members and Other people joined in this process. and it was really an intresting event to learn a lots of things from the participants.

Sampratee NGO - Nandapur and Block Mission Shakti welly designed and managed the process. We hope it will use for the benefits of the community at village level.

State Level ToT on GKS Capacity Building Program

 State Level ToT on GKS  Capacity Building Program was organized at Hote Sun Green, BBSR dated on 08th & 09th September 2011. The Objective of the program to build a district level cadre to channelize the  the respective work in the district. We got an opportunity to get different skills from diffrent resource persons . We enjoyed this program.

Sector Meeting at Badigada- Machkund [ KORAPUT]

We have attended the Sector Meeting at Mach Kund Project - Lamataput. This is a good expreince. The Meeting was good and it has touched a lots of aspects.The thing we need to add in the sector review an AGENDA FOR ANGANWADI HELPER. If any one want to share their expreince, what should be the ideal topics that will help the helpers for taking some messages and they will feel responsible after going from here.
